What experience or knowledge do you have with the Rhodesian Ridgeback?
Why are you interested in adding a Rhodesian Ridgeback to your family?
Please select from below what gender, nose color and coat color interests you (you may select more than one). While we will try to accomodate your preferences, we are not custom building you a puppy. Puppy placement is based on the appropriate puppy temperament for the lifestyle of the potential puppy family.
What activities are you interested in with your Rhodesian Ridgeback (select as many as you want)?
How will you care for your Rhodesian Ridgeback during the day?
Where will he/she sleep at night?
Are you familiar with crate training?
Do you understand that a Rhodesidan Ridgeback puppy (and sometimes adults) may cause damage to furniture, landscaping, etc, if left unsupervised? They also have the potential to harm themselves by ingesting foreign bodies or toxic substances. This is where crate training can save your property and your Rhodesian Ridgeback's life.
Will you be able to devote the time to train, socialize and provide adequate exercise for your Rhodesian Ridgeback throughout his/her life?
Please describe your plans for training, socializing and exercising your Rhodesian Ridgeback?
Do you understand that the Rhodesian Ridgeback is classified as a Sighthound, have strong prey drives and should NEVER be offleash in areas where there is traffic, including unfenced areas in your yard. Regardless of how well trained your think your Ridgeback is, there is always the risk of them chasing a cat, dog or other critter and getting seriously or fatally injured by an automobile. This is the most common cause of early death in a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
When you go on vacation, how will your Rhodesian Ridgeback be cared for if he/she does not go with you?
Please understand that care and custody is the most important part of our contract with puppy buyers, Kito Rhodesian Ridgeback is responsible for all of the puppies we breed throughout their entire life. If a any time, for any reason you can no longer provide for the health and well being of a Kito Rhodesian Ridgeback, he/she MUST be returned to us immediately. Are you willing to comply with these terms?
